9 Days left to GoGo for "11:11" FUNdraiser!
Only 9 more days to GoGo! We are far from our initial goal, but the good thing is that IndieGoGo is not an all or nothing fundraising website! Not discouraging anyone to come along and drop $50k though! http://www.indiegogo.com/1111
If we can raise at least $5,555 that would be fantastic and would help pay for several of our expenses! Independent filmmaking is unfortunately not free and we are trying to cut ever corner possible without sacrificing the original vision of the film…but money is a necessary evil. With majority of the crew working for well below their normal rates, feeding them well is a huge priority! Helping raise the bar on IndieGoGo will ensure that these hard working film enthusiasts are properly nourished in order to endure hours of shooting!
A revised timeline has been created with a new goal of shooting early Fall when the vegetation is more appropriate to the season in which the film takes place. This does cut close to our intended premiere deadline, however we’ve opted to go the Works in Progress route for 11/11/11 for various reasons (mainly to not throw us out of the running for festivals such as SXSW and Sundance). This buys us more time to raise funds and prevents us from filming in the blazing heat of the North Carolina summer!
